Back in January I promised that y’all would be the first to know about any dates for things like shows and immersions, and get first crack at tickets (which I totally dropped the ball on for our show premiere this weekend, not that there’s a lack of seats available), and here we are.
I’m so thrilled to share two new tour stops on the wacky, turbulent plane ride that has been producing this show with all of you FIRST. (Technically second. I did tell the cast and crew already)
LAYOVERS has been accepted to both The Providence Fringe Festival and The Rochester Fringe Festival.
We will have specific dates for Providence soon, but we’ll be performing either the weekend of July 19-21 or July 26-28.
For Rochester Fringe we’ll be performing at the Temple Theater on September 12th, 14th, and 15th.
This is pretty big news for me personally, and marks a lot of firsts!
In Official Stacey Land this is:
– The first time I’ve had a show accepted to a festival
– The most tour dates I’ve ever booked for a show
– The biggest theater I’ve ever booked a show in
– The first time I’ll be partaking in any sort of performance festival
I’m super excited and a little nervous, but mostly excited. We also have one more potential tour stop that we’ll be hearing back from, hopefully in the next few weeks.
In the meantime, if you’re New Haven or Northampton adjacent I’d absolutely love to see you at one of our shows in June!
In case you somehow missed it, we’ll be performing in New Haven this Saturday (May 4th), and in Northampton on May 25th. You can get tickets and find all the deets at www.layoverscircus.com
In the meantime, we’ve gotten some exceedingly lovely press from various New Haven publications, and because I love sharing glowing reviews of my work I’m going to link them here and here! (Both titles employ ‘ground’-based punnery and I cannot disapprove!)
Stay wonderful and I’ll see you on stage!
xoxo
